Welcome from the Head Teacher
Aspire is an alternative provision school based in Buckinghamshire and covers both North and South of the county. Whilst we are one school, we are made up of eight different sites and services serving numerous secondary and primary mainstream schools in Buckinghamshire:
- Alternative Provision Schools (Pupil Referral Units) – Blueprint, CSEC & The Wycombe Grange
- Shortenills - a full time, permanent placement school for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- Aspire Medical Provision – Orchard House, Stoke Mandeville Hospital Teaching Service and Home Tuition (North & South)
- Outreach Service - help for schools
Our vision is to provide amazing educational experiences for children who face challenges in succeeding at mainstream school. The life and work of our schools and services is underpinned by our core principles of safe-love-learn – we make it our priority to ensure that pupils feel secure and valued and ready to fulfil their potential.
Our school values – Respect, Hope, Forgiveness, Integrity, Commitment, Love and Growth Mindset are integral to the way we work with our students. We find ways for them to grow; this may be by spending additional time in school, finding their self-worth, developing their social skills and building confidence in their independence. All this leads to finding a brighter future either with Aspire or post 16 destination.
