AfYP History
Aspire For Young People was founded in 2020 and aims to create opportunities for young people to experience enriching activities outside of education that they otherwise would not have access to.
AfYP has worked with the support of Artswork and The Rothschild Foundation and in conjunction with the Local Cultural Educational Partnership to provide access to cultural and creative opportunities for the students of Aspire.
Grant History
- £125,400 from The Rothschild Foundation to be delivered over 2 years (2020 – 2022)
- £95,355 from Artswork to be delivered over 3 years (2020 – 2023)
- £16,000 from The Rothschild Foundation to be used over 12 months (2024 – 2025) towards the Inspire Creativity Programme
- A number of small grants from parents and organisations, for example, a £10k donation towards music projects and a £450 donation towards a textile project for Art on a Bus.
